Defending The Second Amendment

According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) the number of federally licensed type 1 dealers has declined in every single State since 1975.  Decreases in dealers from 2000 to 2007 range from 7.9% in Arizona to 44.7% in California.*  Are you next?

ATF has recently posted attorney positions to be assigned within the Denver Field Division.  Since ATF attorneys act as "Attorneys for the Government" in administrative hearings, dealers situated within ATF's Denver Field Division (Colorado, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming) may want to brace themselves for increasing administrative actions such as warning conferences and administrative hearings to revoke licenses and deny renewal applications.

Based on information we have received, ATF officials may demand that licensees who attend warning conferences sign authorizations to conduct additional inspections within the one-year limitation period.  DON'T GO TO A WARNING CONFERENCE WITHOUT EXPERIENCED LEGAL COUNSEL!  Tactics such as these lessen your legal position to object should ATF actually show up to conduct more than one inspection within a one-year period.
